This policy explains what information Wealth Devotee collects when you visit
wealthdevotee.com and how we handle it. It is written in plain language rather than legal
language. It is a starting point, not a finished legal document: the site owner should check
that every line matches how the site is actually run, and have it reviewed by a qualified
professional where the law requires that, before treating it as final.
Who we are
Wealth Devotee explains the money a household commits to for years: insurance policies and
what a declarations page actually says, how a health plan pays and what a medical bill
means, retirement accounts, personal income tax, and the money side of buying and owning a
home. We explain documents and contracts. We do not give individual advice, and every
personal question belongs with a professional who can see your whole situation.
What we collect
- Information you send through the contact form. Our Contact page runs a form. When you
use it we receive the details you enter, such as your name, email address and message, so
we can reply. - Basic technical information. Our web host records standard details each time a page
is served: the browser and device you used, a general idea of where the request came
from, and which page you viewed. This is ordinary server activity. - Comments. If commenting is turned on and you leave a comment, we keep what you wrote
along with the name and email address you submit with it.
Please do not send us financial or personal documents. We write about money, so it is
worth saying this clearly: we have no need for your policy numbers, account numbers, Social
Security number, tax return, pay stubs or medical bills, and we never ask for them. Anything
you send through the form arrives in an ordinary inbox, so send only what you would be
comfortable putting in an email.
Analytics and cookies
Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser. This site may set them for
basic functions such as remembering a form entry. You can clear or block cookies through
your browser settings.
We are not naming an analytics provider here, because we cannot confirm which one is
installed. If the owner adds an analytics tool, an email signup form or an advertising

Wealth Devotee takes no affiliate links, no sponsored posts and no paid placements, and
this is a permanent decision rather than a temporary one. No insurer, broker, lender,
brokerage, tax preparer or app pays us anything, and none of them can. When we explain how a
product works, there is no commission attached to the explanation, and we name no company as
the better choice.
We made that choice deliberately. On subjects like insurance, retirement accounts and tax,
money flowing in from the companies being explained would corrupt the explanation.
How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the

Third-party services
The site runs on hosted web infrastructure, the contact form is handled by a form plugin,

under their own privacy practices. The site owner should list the specific providers here
and keep that list current.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask what personal information we hold about
you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will do what we
reasonably can.
Keeping and protecting information
We keep form messages and comments only as long as they are useful for the purpose they were
sent for, and we take reasonable steps to protect them. No website can guarantee perfect
security, so we will not claim to.
